The Indian Government has liberalized the Drone Policy under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Secretary of State for Civil Aviation General V K Singh (Retd.). This will help those who wish to manufacture drones or start drone companies. According to him, nearly 90 per cent of the airspace has now been cleared for the deployment of drones.

Identifying Rare EGFR Mutation Significantly Elevates Lung Cancer Risk by 60 Times in Data

    September 19, 2026

A rare inherited genetic mutation has been shown to increase an individual’s overall likelihood of developing lung cancer by about 25 times, and by roughly 60 times specifically among non-smokers, according to a study published in the journal Science. The research, a collaboration between scientists at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the 23andMe Research Institute, analyzed de-identified genomic data from over 3.3 million individuals. The researchers identified the germline variant known as EGFR T790M as one of the most significant inherited risk factors for lung cancer discovered so far.
